Our Wedding

We met in March 2022 through mutual friends at a local brewery. What started as a casual night out quickly turned into great conversation, plenty of laughs, and the beginning of something special. Just three days later, we went on our first date and have been inseparable ever since.That summer, Lawrence helped Liza move back home from Indianapolis. He showed up in a U-Haul van (and surprisingly looked cute doing it). More importantly, it was the first glimpse into how easy life felt together. From there, our relationship continued to grow through time spent with family and friends, countless sporting events, travel, and plenty of golf along the way.In October of 2025, during a trip to Whistling Straits in Wisconsin, Lawrence proposed on the golf course overlooking Lake Michigan. The moment came right after we both three-putted for bogey, which somehow made it perfectly us.It was the easiest “yes.”We’ve shared so many incredible memories over the past few years, but we are most excited for the next chapter, starting with our wedding day. We can’t wait to celebrate with the people we love the most, who have been part of our story from the very beginning.

Our family usually drives from Louisville, which is about a 9 hour trip plus stops.Flying is also a nice option for those coming from farther away. Our recommended airport to fly into would be Panama City Beach (ECP) located 20-30 mins from Watersound.Destin Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) is another airport option but is about an hour and half away from Watersound.Those choosing to fly and attending with multiple friends/family may want to look into getting a rental car. This stretch of 30a does offer ride share services like Uber and Lyft, but they are not as abundant as other cities.Below are a few of our recommended places to stay. We’d love for you to stay close by and make a weekend of it!

Fun fact, the bar is owned by country music star Luke Bryan and if you are lucky you might just run into him there! This cigar lounge features a walk in humidor with cigars you can purchase ranging from all price levels You can enjoy them in their lounge or outdoor patio. They also have a bar featuring beer and wine options.

The great thing about 30a is you have so many amazing local beach towns that are worth visiting. Seaside, Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, and other beautiful beach towns everyone is familiar with are all just a short bike ride away along 30a.
