Our Wedding

We met in March 2022 through mutual friends at a local brewery. What started as a casual night out quickly turned into great conversation, plenty of laughs, and the beginning of something special. Just three days later, we went on our first date and have been inseparable ever since. That summer, Lawrence helped me move back home from Indianapolis. He showed up in a U-Haul van (and surprisingly looked cute doing it). More importantly, it was the first glimpse into how easy life felt together. From there, our relationship continued to grow through time spent with family and friends, countless sporting events, travel, and plenty of golf along the way.In October of 2025, during a trip to Whistling Straits in Wisconsin, Lawrence proposed on the golf course overlooking Lake Michigan. The moment came right after we both three-putted for bogey, which somehow made it perfectly us. It was the easiest “yes.” We’ve shared so many incredible memories over the past few years, but we are most excited for the next chapter, starting with our wedding day. We can’t wait to celebrate with the people we love the most, who have been part of our story from the very beginning.

Our family usually drives from Louisville, which is about a 9 hour trip plus stops. Flying is also a nice option for those coming from farther away. Our recommended airport to fly into would be Panama City Beach (ECP) located 23 miles from Santa Rosa Beach. Destin Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) is another airport option which is located 48 miles from Santa Rosa Beach. Those choosing to fly and attending with multiple friends/family may want to look into getting a rental car. This stretch of 30a does offer ride share services like Uber and Lyft, but they are not as abundant as other cities. We are excited to announce that guests looking to stay in a traditional resort style hotel have the option of staying on property for the wedding by booking a room at the Camp Creek Inn! If you are looking for a very affordable place to stay than we recommend The Lodge 30a. This hotel is along 30a and keeps you near all of the wedding weekend festivities. Another fantastic option for those traveling in groups is to rent a beach house together. Vrbo offers an abundance of great beach house options that can sleep anywhere from 4-18 guests! We are encouraging folks going the rental house route to look at renting in the Prominence neighborhood of 30a so you will be close to the families of the wedding party and to the wedding venue.

Shore Thing Cigars is a great afternoon or evening hangout located within The Big Chill in the Prominence neighborhood. Fun fact, the bar is owned by country music star Luke Bryan and if you are lucky you might just run into him there! This cigar lounge features a walk in humidor with cigars you can purchase ranging from all price levels You can enjoy them in their lounge or outdoor patio. They also have a bar featuring beer and wine options.
